Is a vintage bracelet worth repairing?

I just grabbed a black Seiko Stargate from the Bay.

I wanted a daily wear beater and when I saw this, it was perfect. Pre-beaten. It looked in good condition overall, with obvious signs of wear. Like the patina on a classic car.

Literally the first time I put it on, the bracelet broke. I don’t think the seller was pulling a fast one or hiding anything. The watch has clearly seen some use.

Is it worth bringing the bracelet to a watch shop to try and get it fixed? Or, give up the patina…

Best fine mesh/Milanese band for Nomos?

I just picked up a Nomos Tangente, and as summer is about to hit here in AZ, it likely won’t see the leather strap much over the next few months. I figured that a polished mesh/Milanese bracelet would be a good fit.

I know in general strapcode is known for aftermarket bracelets, here is one I am looking at:

Any other brands I should be looking at?
