I couldn’t decide if I wanted the Explorer II 16570 or the 216570 just based on specs, so I wore each one for the month to see which one felt and looked better. I thought I’d share my thoughts and a few wrist shots here with you.

Yesterday my wife and I were in the area, and decided to stop by our AD just to say hello and see what they had on display. Just as the the title says, after two years out? I ask because I’m in a small watch phase, currently enjoying a 34mm Air King since last year which has made me pause using larger watches such as the Speedie.

I’d love to see an update with white lume and silver/white gold/rhodium hands and markers, and a jubilee bracelet.

I’ve had my Polar Explorer II 226570 now for about 2 months. The problem I have with it, is that now I don’t wear or even want to wear any other watches in my collection. The Explorer II checks every box for me. Extremely comfortable, legible, and flies under the radar. It hasn’t left my wrist since I put it on at the AD, and it’s running +4 seconds after 2 months. I am very impressed with the accuracy of the 3285 movement, and overall everything about this watch.
