Well.. i just turned down ‘the call’ (for the watch i didn’t ask for).

The AD called me yesterday and offered me a Mint-Green Dial 41mm Datejust on an Oyster bracelet.

It wasn’t the watch I’ve asked for.
It’s not a color I’m fond of.
But I probably would have bought it if it had the Jubilee bracelet..

After calling back today and politely saying ‘no thank you’, I asked how far down the list I am for one I did ask for.

“It will still be another 5-6 years.. now”

The dude didn’t need to say ‘now’.. that part was just hurtful :)

Rolex Submariner 1680 -Red Sub but a 5.8M serial number!?

Hi guys,

I’m hoping one of your knowledgeable folks could please help to shed some light on my confusion!
I recently purchased from a legitimate grey dealer in the UK who confirmed that the watch had all original parts, a Red Submariner 1680. It has recently had a Rolex service in February where RSC replaced the bracelet and gave it an complete overhaul and polish (I believe new Bezel and insert, crystal, the crown was replaced to a triple lock also)
