## Show us your watches with a cyclops ##

As I get older, I’m starting to appreciate the foresight of Hans Wilsdorf, who put a cyclops on the crystal of the early Datejust watches.

These days this trend appears to have caught on with other brands jumping on the band-wagon.

Some people love them, others detest a cyclops and even post threads on how to take them off.

This thread is dedicated to those of us that love watches with the cyclops, in situ.

Let me kick things off with what I’m currently wearing…

Post your mods/builds/customs – anything and everything – here

Seiko forum has a mod thread for Seikos. We have threads for 8926’s, Timex, Tiger Concepts. I’m sure other fora have their own threads.

I want to see your mods, builds, one-offs, anything goes.

Built a treasured daily driver from eBay parts? Post it. Made an SKX into a Black Bay? Post it. Cerakoted your watch to your team colors? Post it. Custom dials? Post ’em. NTH/Smiths swaps? Post em. Swapped the dial of a 16800 out for for a custom homage dial? Well, maybe that’s not…

Best of Ali-Xpress STRAPS (bracelets)

I’ve ordered many straps from Ali, but usually they were just OK. I’d love to hear about more straps/bracelets that people thought were fantastic for the price

Every now and then good straps are discussed in the AliX thread. But I thought it would be very useful to compile them in its own thread. I’ll start off with some usual suspects, and can update along the way.

Any love for Certina?

I recently acquired a Certina DS Action diver 43. I was looking for a black dial diver in a classic style. I know Hodinkee just started distribution of Certina in US. I bought this one on fleabay.

I’m really impressed with the quality for 800 USD. I searched the forum and very little popped up for Certina. Clearly it is more obscure than its siblings in the Swatch family, Tissot and Hamilton.

Obligatory picture…

Any love for Certina?
