New Orient models for 2025

Some new releases from Orient announced this weekend.

The brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. The first related release includes a bunch of new Bambinos: regular ones, “sun and moon” ones, and – for the first time – solar-powered, no-date Bambinos.

Each of these types includes one limited “75th anniversary” edition, bearing a classic cursive-font logo, instead of the standard “if there’s one thing I’d change in this watch” symbol.

The blue dial diver. Is it the best? Let’s see them!

The blue dial diver seems to be everywhere. Divers are built to be used mainly in the water, but nowadays we’re diving more from desks than in pools or oceans and the element of color adds some style over the classic (and a bit boring) black dialed diver. Not as much a tool as wrist-jewelry, they have a special appeal to millions of dive watch fans.

When 2021 rolled around, I had zero. Now I have three, with one more on the way… I don’t know what happened, but I’m definitely enjoying…
