Am I the only one who has a love/hate relationship with rotating bezels?

It seems as if there’s just entirely too many watches with rotating bezels that hardly need them. Most will rarely if ever be used and the penalty is a smaller dial than would otherwise fit on the same size case. A recent example of this is the Omega Planet Ocean Worldtimer. I get that the Planet Ocean line is a dive watch, but I can’t help but thinking this would have been a much better non-dive watch sans the rotating bezel and something smaller than dinner plate size.
