New chrono with only small seconds sub-dial ?

I absolutely love Damasco’s central minute chonographs.

The sleek, clean lines with no sub dials on a chrono at all is very impressive.

But it would be nice to have something visibly “running” like a small seconds hand.

2 of the 3 sub-dials on the existing chronos are effectively worthless. Who needs an indicator of day/night when its not even a GMT ? And who times a 12 hr event with an analog chrono ? Besides, half of their watches with sub-dials even have a bezel that could be used to…

Grand Seiko FINALLY Has Micro Adjust…..and UFA!

Welp! It looks like the rumors were true – GS is coming out with what appears to be an awesome bracelet featuring a micro-adjustment system. The only downside is that, for now, it’s just one bracelet and it’s made of titanium.

On another note, the new Spring Drive looks great and boasts “ultra-fine accuracy.” Honestly, I don’t see a reason to upgrade if you already own a Spring Drive, but it’s pretty cool if you’re in the market for a new watch and get an even more accurate Spring Drive…
