Quartz GMT water resistance… SBGN003/005 vs SBGN027/029

I have the current quartz GMT, the SBGN027. It’s a great watch, but the monochromatic GMT hand can make checking the time at a glance difficult in some light. Also, the 12/3/6/9 lume instead of full lume gets on my nerves. So I’ve been considering the older model, the SBGN003, which has the orange GMT hand and full lume.

One downside to the SBGN003 is that the rated water resistance is 100m, while the current models feature 200m.

Reasonable Priced Small Dive-ish Watch

Thought this would be easy but not finding what I think may be out there.

Wish Item: 38-40mm dive-ish watch with a rotating marker bezel. Often, I find I’ll have to memorize where 20 min. from now is and hope I remember said mark in 20 minutes. :)

Having an easy to rotate wheel to ‘arrow’ the mark would be excellent. Don’t really need killer water resistance 100m is dandy. It would be used as a daily (read: beater) where I own autos mainly, a groovy quartz is not ruled out. No…

Recommendations for Rolex AD’s in Southern CA?

Hi all,

I am turning 40 this year and using this as an excuse to inquire on my first Rolex. I am eyeing a blue OP in either 36 or 41.

I would appreciate if anyone can suggest AD’s in Southern California they’ve had good experience with.

I can visit them all and asked to be put on the list and hope for the best, but figured to ask for input here first.
