Longines Conquest – 41 vs 38

Im going to buy the new longines Conquest but Im currently stuck debating which size to get. Sadly the longines ad in town doesn’t have them in stock, as I live in the idwest where people don’t buy many watches.

Im leaning toward 41 but worried it will wear too big, since this is a dressier piece.

For context I am 6-4 and thiccc so I usually just get the biggest size and go home.

I included shots of my 40.5mm Cincinnati P40 as its probably closest in size to the Conquest 41

Fleux FLX004

Saw the press release on this new FLX004 and showed my wife (always get her opinion she’s an artist and has a keen eye) and didn’t think much of it – besides it was a few days before my b-day; she and my son surprised me with this watch for my b-day and I think for $499 it’s hard to beat – simple, art deco/vintage design is really classy looking to me; just a really smooth look to it and has the Seiko NH38A inside w/ 41hr power; it’s a beaut for sure

eBay Global Shipping Program is dreadful

I have sold hundreds of watches to customers around the world. We don’t have the eBay GSP in Australia. I always use International Express. They usually arrive within 5-10 working days, faster to the USA.

I have bought many from overseas, and when the seller sends directly it’s usually quite fast. Skoda_Boy in particular is awesome, I have had watches from him in the USA to Australia in less than a week.
