GS switched to the new numbering and branding shortly after these were launched, and they were a low volume model to begin with, so I imagine the number of SBGD001 (as opposed to SBGD201) is low. Anyone happen to know how low?

Today I have noticed that the black colored index between 8 and 10 on the bezel has disappeared.
Probably fell off sometime during the day.
I have had this watch for only a couple of months, so it’s probably a QC issue.
[Is Grand Seiko starting to have seiko QC issues?]
The question is – where do I go from here?
Do I let the service center take care of it under warranty, and take the risk of the watch coming back in worse condition… or do I try to fix it myself with a sharpie…
