I’m such a moron… I noticed that my bracelet clasp was really off center on the back of my wrist… so, I decide to move a link from one side to the other. And, somehow- one of the braclet screws gets sucked up in the ether along with the other sock, the other cuff-link, etc. etc.

I then spent the last two hours trying to find the screw… finally, I gave up.

If anybody has one knocking around I’ll shoot you some $. Or, I can send some money the charity of your choice. I know I can…

I’m trying to buy my first GS and I need a GMT to fill the role of an overseas travel/vacation watch. I’ve settled on GS because I feel they are somewhat stealthy and GS is one of the brands I don’t yet have in my collection. The only issue has been there are so many models it’s hard to keep track of what’s what.

My list of wants:

-Water resistant/durable

Which GS GMT would you pick?

Anyone else have an issue with the beads of rice bracelet not fitting that well? It feels super comfortable, but is just a tad too small or big on my 7 inch writs. I reached out to GS and they don’t make quarter or half links for this one, so I am kind of at a crossing and don’t know what to do.

Beads of rice bracelet

I bought this 9F diver a few years ago and I recently replaced the battery. I’ve stepped away from watch purchasing for a while but I still love rotating through my watches. I hadn’t picked this one up since before the spring time change but started wearing it again yesterday. I forgot how really special this watch is. It was running within 1 second of atomic time after 6 months. With a watch like this it is tough to add additional divers.

With some frequency I see FB posts where someone will make the claim along the lines of “the Bulova Precisionist has a smooth sweep so what’s the big deal about Spring Drive?”. Of course the people making such comparisons don’t understand how Spring Drive actually works, and they probably don’t know how the Precisionist works either.
