…but keeping excellent time on the wrist.

Since no local watchmaker seems to be able to help I’ve been advised to use it (8-12 hours daily).

To get it going first thing I find it necessary to shake it vigorously about 30-40 secs – it’s hilarious watching my technique believe me.

I suppose this is ultimately going to affect accuracy and worst case affect the watch? I only have a rudimentary knowledge of automatics.

So I stumbled upon Henry Archer microbrand while I was surfing the internet yesterday. One of their watches got my attention and asked them questions. Their response was quick and professional.
Today I searched for similar size and price watches and found Glycine Combat Sub, and emailed them asking the same questions, their response was snarky, which made me decide to buy the Archer only. Anyway, I’m not butthurt or anything, just sharing my experience.

Glycine vs Henry Archer

I’m really have a hard time with my Glycine Chief GLO410

It is my first 24 hour watch and I have half a century experience looking at 12 hour dials, and I’m in the US and didn’t work in a field that needed military time.

So I don’t wear it a lot. Yesterday I decided to wear it a ton. (I’m on the road now and I have a new watch waiting for me at home, so that one will need to get some wrist time.) But unless I’m kayaking, I’m wearing this one for awhile.
