I’m working on an article for my blog around Ducati’s history in watches, and am building out the section on Fortis. I can’t seem to locate concrete information on the release dates of the three Fortis Flieger-Ducati collab watches. Does anyone know the following:

1) When they came out?
2) When the partnership ended?

On the latter – it seems like it was long running. I know of at least one Fortis-Ducati watch as far back as 1998.

I’m looking for some ideas on a bracelet for a Flieger F-39 (see below). The Fortis bracelet is a bit expensive at close to $500.

While I do have a fantasy that someone will come forward with a fitted end-link that works perfectly with the F-39, I’d also be happy to hear about positive experiences with aftermarket bracelets using straight endlinks. In particular, I’d like something on the chunkier side to match the brawn of the watchhead. Perhaps an engineer style, or something…
