Nice deal on DW-5300G but also a version query

So I did what I think was a great deal on this nice vintage 5300 last night🙂.

Offered and got accepted at £25!👍

It was up on eBay UK as not working and there’s, (obviously I guess), no bezel. It will also need a new, (DW-6900), strap.

I can get a Malaysian bezel for it, I had one from there for my other 5300 and they’re really good quality, and fit perfectly.

I’ll be checking it with a new battery first!

Best source of solar panel contact springs

I got together GW2310. It did not require at first sight getting full module removal, rather external clean up, o-ring and proper CTL1616 (not wannabe CTL CR1616). Literally next day i found it don’t wake up from sleep under the light. As i suspected someone damaged/removed solar panel springs.
Is there alternative source for these? Ordering from Pacparts is too costly for me plus they don’t carry specific part.
