I’m sure no one has ever talked about this before.

I just installed a combi bracelet on my AWGM100. The levels of stupid and suck present just to install a bracelet was mind-boggling. I’m stunned how bad it was, but it is finally on with a little chewing of the lugs. Not gonna lie, it is a great bracelet.

In retrospective research, I now see that some intrepid soul somewhere found the keys to the kingdom is using 16×1.8 spring bars in lieu of the standard 16×2.0…

Casio GX56 question.

Hi

I’ve just received a second hand GX56 and have noticed a couple of things that seem a bit off. Firstly when in the 3 button screen the module reads as 3179 not 3121 as on the backplate. Secondly in a certain light the screen looks slightly distorted almost like acrylic when it takes a knock. The screen is definitely glass with no signs of damage. Any thoughts?

DW-5xxxC ‘next purchase selector chart’

I used your kind advice to restore my DW-5600 last year: https://www.watchuseek.com/posts/57986802/. I’ve really enjoyed wearing it since, and a few people have asked about / commented on it.

Having decided the subtle gold lettering is almost too understated I found a DW-5400 with module 240 that I’ll be restoring (with 5700 bezel :() to give something a bit ‘brighter’ with the red and white lettering. I also ended up with another DW-5600 – silver buttons with green backlight…
