Ok, still pretty new to watches, so no bully, but here is my very humble collection:

I wear the Kamasu most days to work and the Max Bill on Sundays (with a leather strap). Mixing in the Casios here and there.

I’m looking for a Sporty-Dress watch that I can get on the secondary market for under $500. Something to wear everyday in an office. Won’t be wearing a suit, but would like the flexibility of the watch not looking out of place when I do.

Mechanical Watches with Unique/Interesting Complications

I love looking at unique or unusual complications! Some of the ones I like the most though tend to be waaaay out of my price range.

I’m curious looking at non-quartz mechanical in the affordable section (say sub 1k?) does anyone have any really unique or unusual watches with special complications they like? Im not looking for something to buy for myself (at least in the short term) so much as just to see some fascinating watches in this category! If anyone owns any?

Thoughts about compliments…

My interest has always been in affordable dress watches (preferably Bulova or Timex), which are either vintage, reissues or have a retro vibe, as opposed to diver, field, sport, I’m sure you get the picture. Last night, I went to dinner with a friend wearing a Bulova Robie House.

The young lady who was serving us, complimented the watch and proceeded to ask a few questions about it. She then paused and hesitantly asked if it was expensive. I replied that “expensive” is relative, but…
