I will be attempting to wear one watch for the whole year of 2025. Why? Because the perfect watch doesn’t exist.

A few rules for myself:

The same watch must be worn for the entire year

Strap changes are allowed

If using a quartz watch and a battery change is required, one other watch may be worn until the battery is replaced on the original watch

The challenge starts January 1st 2025 and ends December 31st 2025

One Watch Challenge 2025

Lets see all the bronze/brass watch pictures together here. I’ll get it rolling with the ones I have. Let’s make this thread about pictures…as many as you can post…same watch taken at different times, whether you have one or know of one…whatever…as long as the watches are of bronze/brass.

After seeing Dick Jagger’s impressive collection of non G-Shock Casios in another thread, I was wondering about how many Affordables members have a collection of Casio’s less high profile but high value watches. This includes Edifice, Sports, Pathfinder/Protrek, Waveceptor, Classic, Dress, Databank and plain old drugstore Casios.

— I guess display casebacks don’t mean a thing to me; I don’t spend a moment looking at the casebacks of any of my watches — even the ones with nice, decorated rotors like my Citizen Signature Grand Classic.
