I have a few watch pet peeves and wanted to know what your pet peeves are.

o|Adjustable width bracelets. I can’t stand bracelets that fit “18-22mm” lug widths. The only exception is if you use the smallest setting. Then it’s OK, but only barely so. What’s worse is when the springs are broken and the bracelet is shifted over to one side.

o|Expansion bracelets. I find that they are usually too large or too small. The only one I will wear is an accordion style one on a vintage Timex I have…

So…………I thought I’d kick off today’s thread with a water-resistant watch:

Hey everyone,

New to the forum here and hoping someone can help me ID a watch from the photos attached (admittedly blurry). I’m leaning towards a Timex Weekender Indiglo, but the wired lugs are throwing me off. I’ve only seen that style on the Timex Midget, and it doesn’t quite match. Any watch sleuths out there who have a clue what model this could be?

I was searching for a 1966 Timex Marlin as a companion to a couple of reissues that I have, when I stumbled onto this ’66 21. The more I read about these watches and their place in the Timex line-up, the more I was convinced that I wanted it, so it’s on the way now. 🤩
Hopefully, it performs as well as the seller described.
