My beloved Speedmaster Professional, purchased new in 2011, stopped working three months ago. Apparently a mainspring problem. I handed it off to my trusted local watch repair guy (not a AD, but I have worked with for years) but he simply could not acquire a new mainspring. He finally gave up and gave the watch back to me today, unrepaired.
I assume my next move is to get Omega itself to make the repair. Does it make a difference between bringing it to an indipendent store that is an AD…
