Okay, maybe I'm being crazy. I've definitely gone gonzo trying different straps on my new 3861, and loving most of them. Today, I was watching the movie The Right Stuff.
In the civillian rolls, I saw at least 2 or 3 of the Mercury 7 characters wearing their Speedmaster Pro's on Speidel Twistoflex bracelets. I had a watch on one when I was a kid. Really liking the look on the one worn by the Gordon Cooper character played by Dennis Quaid. Thinking I might pick one up just to give it a try…
