Hi,
I had a maddening experience. I have misplaced the stem to the screw down crown for this watch. I scoured my rug and surrounding area.
Does anyone know whether generic stem with the right specs will substitute for a Bulova stem? In this case, I have a Cal 242 movement and the case serial number is 8112. Photo below.
I will also take it to my local watchmaker tomorrow, but wanted to get a jump on this question. I do have the crown and spring.
