Went to the gym for a run at 6pm tonight, checked the forecast and at worst some sleet so thought it would be fine.
Coming out of the gym circa 7:30pm there was some sleet but not concerning so carried on to the supermarket to get tomorrow’s roast.
Coming out of the Supermarket, heavy snow settling on the roads, resulting in a 25mph drive back home, and that was with snow settled on the dual carriageways too – not much fun!
This was in the Newbury area where we don’t get too much snow! Will probably be gone by the morning as the forecast for tomorrow is warmer with rain.
