My watch purge continues (down to eight from fourteen) and I’ve sold all of them thus far to other WUSeekers.
Today I tried to ship my quartz Certina HA Chrono to a buyer in the EU: $75 just for shipping charges of small 2 lb box, plus whatever import duties the buyer will eventually need to pay when the box arrives.
But here’s the twist: on the US Customs form next to where I entered the value of the watch I entered a description: “Wrist watch, Certina.” And the postal service clerk…
