Hi,
I bought this watch at a swap meet this weekend for $18. It only runs for a few seconds, and the crown is either aftermarket, or the chrome plating wore off. I would like to have the watch disassembled/serviced/reassembled–by someone in Southern California [I do not want to mail the watch. I am happy to drive somewhere and drop it off]. I have read on-line that watchmakers refuse to service these old Timex watches.
