Say you got a pretty good deal on a watch a year ago. We’ll say $500 below market.
A year later finds you trying to raise funds for another purchase and you have decided to sell/list the watch in question. You figure you can make a nice profit and use that money to cover your next purchase.
However…The person you bought it from reaches out and asks you how much you’re selling it for.
Do you feel obligated sell it back to them for the same price you paid or…market value?
