Second Hand Misnamed

I was showing my watch to my 4 year old niece and she was asking what the different hands do. I explained about the minute hand and then the hour hand and then she asked about the hand that was moving the fastest.

I told her that was the second hand.

She laughed, thinking I was trying to trick her, and she said “No uncle Howard, that’s NOT the second hand! That’s the THIRD hand!”
