Santos-Dumont “Piano Black” – is it proper for a first Cartier?

Hello Cartier Fans,

I have no Cartier in my collection. Mainly selected Rolexes and Grand Seikos so far.

I’ve never thought I’d feel warm about a Cartier watch. But a repeated Instagram posts from “the down under” caused that I have acquired a soft spot for Santos-Dumont in the piano black finish.

Does anyone have this watch in his collection and can share observations/experiences? I’m wondering if this could be a good start to the Cartier world.
