Got my first San Martin today, the 1016 Explorer 1 homage, SN021-G , and I got to say I’m pretty happy with the build quality.
It’s sturdy, finishing is acceptable, and crown functionalities are okay. For the price I feel I’m getting more than what I paid for.
With that said, wanted to know what’s the general consensus on SM pieces? This is a virtually unknown brand in my country hence I have zero bias.
Is the brand still frowned upon as a knock off…
