I have one with the common broken plastic quick-set gear. The day/date changes with the time, so I manually adjust them.
What I've been doing is setting the day by passing midnight until the day changes, then going backwards until around 8:00pm, then forward again until the day advances; doing that until I get the desired day. I was wondering is there's a way to adjust the date the same way? It seems the date just goes back and forth to the same date without advancing. Maybe I need to go…
