I'm not a fan of copy watches – calling them an "homage" is no excuse for lazy,or downright rip-off design practices IMHO, And I've voiced that here on occasion.
I know everything influences everything else, but some originality is nice, and not that hard to achieve.
So some of the cheap Chinese brands infuriate me with their blatant copies of classic watches, or sometimes even other affordable brands like Islander or Spinnaker.
To me, it's a huge waste of potential as far as I'm concerned…
