Hi all,
I have a vintage (c. 1980 something) non-running IWC with a JLC calibre 602 quartz movement (photos of the watch below).
I just got it returned from IWC as they wanted an astonishing amount of cash to 'rebuild the movement' as it has battery acid leaked on it.
Anyone got any recommendations for someone in the UK (ideally London) who could do this?
Or am I better sourcing a replacement movement and using that?
I am not a watchmaker, so whatever the route I am reliant on expertise…
