So according to the great Zaf Basha here are the production numbers for the RAF Weems watches
Omega 2000
Longines 3000
Jaeger Le Coultre 1000
Zenith 1000
Movado 1000
And god knows how many left probably a lot destroyed or at the bottom of the sea.
Here’s my all original JLC weems issued with a sterile dial for the air ministry in 1940
The stamped numbers on the dial are a mystery no one seems to know what they could be 83817
Hopefully one day the answer will come to light…
