Question about date function on the Aqua Terra

I don’t wear my AT at night often so I want to inquire with members who own an AT as well.

You can see the date wheel is in the process of changing since it’s near midnight. Is this normal for the movement rather than a swift change at 12am?

This watch doesn’t get worn much admittedly unless the date that’s on it is close enough to the current date because the hacking hour hand function.
