My Formex Essence 39mm was truly accurate when new, but after 3 years, it was losing time at the rate of about 8 sec/day. Certainly not chronometer-grade performance. I contacted Formex, and they recommended that I send it to their authorized service center in Maryland. The watch was just out of warranty.
Seven weeks and $300 later, I got the watch back, but noticed signs of a substandard service. Long story, but I would not send the watch back to them under any circumstances.
