Hello together,
As far as I know 32 kHz tuning fork quartz have a not negligible position dependency.
As I understand the situation, the temperature dependence is compensated for HAQ, but not the position dependency.
I now had the idea that the rate deviation can be counteracted/minimized by placing the watch in a certain position when not worn.
For example, there could be a position in which the watch runs a little slower than usual. If the watch has a tendency to run slightly fast, this…
