As good as I remembered it / got great weather.
Squeezed in 2 museums/ got tickets to go up Arc de Triomphe/ river cruise on the Seine so made the most of our time
When we walked down the Champs-Élysées unfortunately all the watch shops were closed / was about 9.30 am.
Not sure if the Olympic effect but city seemed very clean
Never felt unsafe / everyone walking around with phones out/ talking or taking pictures.
On train down to La Rochelle – guy opposite was wearing a panerai & woman across isle wearing a datejust
Met people at La Rochelle for dinner & one guy wearing a panerai & another a submariner
We stayed away from tourists spots & didn’t feel prices were too bad
Didn’t wear a watch but felt I would have been fine with anything i wore & was a bit disappointed I didn’t take one
