Papers and box requirements

WatchUSeek Watch Forums WatchUSeek Watch Forums

Hi All,
Quite new here. Was wondering about your views on whether used, pre-loved etc watches need to have both box and papers to be considered for purchases.
No box, papers no deal. Or is it more nuanced.
Given that my ahem, 'collection' consists of just two, but plans are afoot – Baume & Mercier Capeland and a Citizen Pro master Tough Ti dive both of which have box and papers, I'd prefer to keep it like that. I bought the Citizen new but the B & M was used.
Thought?
Cheers,
M.
