Hi all, I am getting a vintage Rolex I inherited serviced. In terms of preserving the value, obviously external parts such as the dial and hands must be period correct. However, what about all of the various internal parts that may need to be replaced? Is it acceptable or even preferred to use modern Rolex parts for these?
As an aside, I wrote out a list for the watchmaker concerning everything I want done. Please let me know if you feel that this is sufficient, or if there is anything else…
