Has anyone else noticed the extremely “disconnected” hand-winding feel on the Omega 89xx calibres (8912 specifically)?
I’ve now tried multiple examples across different boutiques, and they all feel the same, so I’m assuming this is just the nature of the movement rather than a defect.
The best way I can describe it is not “smooth” but almost… absent? Dry? Hollow?
There’s very little to no tactile feedback through the crown. No real sense (or sound) of gears engaging, spring tension…
