Hello! First of all, I'm wishing all fellow enthusiasts a great 2025!
I got a question: Many other brands used various bracelets from different suppliers. Brands like IWC, Universal, Heuer, Eterna or Certina used variations of bracelets from Gay Freres, JB Champion, Henry et Cie or NSA. The stamps of these bracelet makers are usually found inside the claps.
On vintage Omegas, I struggle to find these stamps.
Sometimes, on old flatlinks, the manufacturing year looks a lot like Gay Freres…
