I just got a call from a microbrand company owner from whom I bought a watch just under $500 in July 2025. Not a typo, last year. I used my CC, he got the $ presumably as he sent the watch.
Now a year later he tells me he got notified (by his bank I suppose) that the transaction was suspicious. He wants me to investigate with the bank.
