I've gone full circle – started my collection with a 3 hander w/ date, and have came back to the same.
I was pondering between the VC Patrimony or the JLC MUT Date, and here's the one that won out. Lovely in pretty much every way. The unidirectional winding has a zip to it (also due to the ceramic bearings). I considered the MUT Moon but ultimately like having a quickly readable date.
