I’ve liked Blancpain for years, but always hesitated to buy one because the watches looked a little boring. Stale, even?
Both the Bathyscaphe chronograph and Fifty Fathoms had been on my list for a long time, though. Kind on my "if the price is good enough" list.
A great auction price finally got me into the Bathyscaphe…and I figured I was probably good on Blancpain; I’m not someone who buys two watches from the same brand. Let alone two divers! 😂
Almost six months of ownership changed…
