I just purchased a PAM1086 after wanting a Panerai for quite a long time, specifically the PAM000 when I first became aware of it. I love the simplicity of it and to me that is the beauty of it. I’m not so concerned of the lesser water resistant, I guess one could argue it’s truer to vintage Panerai’s that were originally rated at 100 meters. I understand the case is solid, meaning the bezel is part of the case and cannot be replaced if required. Perhaps a cost saving measure or maybe…
