Ladies watches often seem like an afterthought in the luxury watch market. But top watch brands like Rolex and Patek Philippe never forget the feminine wrist: this year at Watches and Wonders in Geneva, these blue-chip marques introduced a combined total of five new timepieces perfect for women. Let’s have a look at them!
New Ladies Rolex Watches for 2025

Not much overshadowed the Rolex introduction of its brand-new Land-Dweller at Watches and Wonders 2025 in platinum, white gold and steel (Rolesor), and rose gold (Everose) versions. While the 36mm Land-Dweller is certainly positioned as a women’s Rolex, the new 40mm version with its equally refined proportions is perhaps a more versatile option as it is undoubtedly unisex. The aesthetic of the new Land-Dweller certainly reflects some designs from Rolex’s past. However, it also improves upon these with a concerted effort to advance comfort thanks to softer edges and slimmer profiles for the case and bracelet.
In fact, the case is only 9.7 mm in height despite housing a new movement that packs a real technical punch. The new Flat Jubilee bracelet is characterized by seamless visual continuity with the case so that it looks as if the bracelet and case were one piece. This optic is aided by the extremely precise and wonderfully aligned polished bevels running down the sides of the case and bracelet that catch the light.

The dial of the Rolex Land-Dweller is decorated with a honeycomb motif cut out using a femtosecond laser. This stylized expression of the typical bezel flutes that surround the dial catch the light very well, almost overshadowing the brand-typical “cyclops eye” date magnifier that covers the date window at 3 o’clock. The Everose gold and platinum variations of the Rolex Land-Dweller are also available with 40 trapeze-cut diamonds on the bezel instead of fluting and 10 baguette-cut diamonds on the dial in place of dial markers inlaid with luminescent material.

But even more than these visual cues from the outside, it is the beating heart of the Rolex Land-Dweller, Caliber 7135, that continues to capture so much attention. A high-frequency movement beating at 5 Hz (36,000 vph), its time is kept by the cutting-edge Dynapulse escapement, an indirect-impulse escapement style with dual silicon wheels that was more than a decade in development. Caliber 7135 has 16 patents pending, seven of which are only for the escapement.
Rolex also introduced new Ladies Oyster Perpetual watches in stainless steel (Oystersteel) featuring matte-lacquered dials in soft shades of lavender, beige, and pistachio green. Naturally, not every color is available in every size. Lavender is currently exclusive to the petite 28 mm model, while beige is offered in the 36 mm case. The green dial is reserved for the 41 mm version, which, although not categorized as a women’s watch, features a slimmer clasp and a redesigned case that could appeal to a broader range of wearers. Each is powered by an automatic Rolex movement certified as a chronometer: Caliber 2232 in the 28 mm, and Caliber 3230 in the 36 mm and 41 mm models, both introduced in 2020.
New Patek Philippe Watches for the Ladies

This year’s Patek Philippe collection naturally includes a gorgeous jewelry watch based on one of the brand’s iconic models. The new Nautilus Haute Joaillerie Reference 5811/1460G-001 uses different diamond cuts to emphasize the very recognizable shape of the porthole-styled Nautilus. A row of baguette-cut diamonds, for example, accentuates the bezel’s rounded octagon, while brilliant-cut diamonds divided by white gold lines determine the design of the dial; time is shown by baguette-cut diamonds acting as hour markers.

Baguette-cut diamonds also have a place decorating the bracelet’s central links, while regular rows of brilliant-cut diamonds adorn the main links. In total, the Patek Philippe Nautilus Haute Joaillerie is set with 1,285 brilliant-cut diamonds (6.43 ct) and 195 baguette-cut diamonds (13.27 ct). Reference 5811/1460G-001, housed in a white gold case measuring 41 x 9.25 mm, is powered by Caliber 26-330 S, an automatic Patek Philippe movement with stop seconds, which means that the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out for precise setting.

While the size of Reference 5811/1460G-001 definitely makes it a unisex watch, Patek Philippe also introduced a women’s Patek Philippe Nautilus watch with a svelte 32 x 6.9 mm white gold case whose bezel is set with 46 diamonds (0.8 ct). It is powered by an in-house quartz movement and comes on a choice of white gold bracelet or composite rubber strap with a fabric pattern that almost looks like denim; both the dial with its dainty wave pattern and strap are a bright azure blue, perfect for summer.

And last but hardly least, the brand introduced an extremely complicated perpetual calendar model to its round Patek Twenty~4 collection, which is specifically made with women in mind. Available in a stunningly slim 36 x 9.95 mm rose gold case, it is available with a choice of two dial colors: Reference 7340/1R-001 has a silvered dial decorated with a double vertical and horizontal satin-brushed finish that Patek Philippe says, “is reminiscent of the sheen of wild shantung silk,” and Reference 7340/1R-010 with an olive-green sunburst-finish dial.
The calendar indications are displayed in three subsidiary dials: at 3 o’clock the subdial contains the month and the current state of the leap year cycle; the 6 o’clock subdial shows the current date and moon phase in a special aperture; and at 9 o’clock we find the day of the week and a display for 24-hour time. The perpetual calendar is a tiny mechanical marvel as it shows the correct calendar all year – even taking the leap year and lengths of months into account. The perpetual calendar is one of the most recognizable Patek Philippe faces, making this new watch already a true classic.
The elegance of the slim case is all thanks to the genius of Caliber 240 Q, which is both ultra-thin and automatic. The use of a micro rotor in the automatic winding assembly aids in keeping the height down. This watch is also noteworthy as the first round Twenty~4 model that is not gem-set.
Women sure have a lot to choose from in 2025, and that’s timely!
