New Breitling better than Schneider Era?

Hello to all Breitling fans.

As a long time Breitling collector, starting with a Chronomat in 1994, i have seen most of its changes in design and appearance. From Ernest handing over to Teddy Schneider to CVC and Kern take over in 2017. My question is:

Has the recently models raised Breitling watches performance on the wrist? or would Schneider, if he had not sold the company, be able to accommodate the brand to this smaller/comfortable type of watch?
