Hold your horses! It's not a crazy question. The IWC Mark XV mesh bracelet, 19mm, is rare as a hen's tooth. They never come up for sale. I've been in touch with a watchmaker here in NYC who has located the 18mm of this same, I think for the earlier Mark XII. We haven't discussed a price yet but it won't be cheap.
My question is this: what are folks' thoughts on asking him to modify (he does have the skills) the end links to fit my 19mm case? Is that a good/bad/adequate idea?
