I was wearing a different watch this morning when I looked at my shirt and pants and thought, the Farer Stanhope would go well with that … all the way down to the texture on the dial being fairly close to the texture of the shirt. I don’t always (or even often) spend much time matching my daily watch to my clothing – except I typically will lean towards a brown leather strap with brown shoes and belt, and a black strap with black shoes/ belt; and I’ll wear a proper dress watch with a suit…
