I originally posted this in the Vintage Forum, where it was suggested I try here, too … so that's what I'll do 
I currently have another "project" with my watchmaker, a Lord Elgin "Panorama" (which was part of their "Horizon Series", a group of watches where the watch crystal overlaps the outer edge of the watch for a "borderless" look). So far, so good, but a previous watchmaker had damaged the part that keeps the seconds hand running smoothly, i.e., it now "stutters".
