If you are thinking of buying this vehicle, or have already bought it by the time you read this, you should know of its disastrous insurance and repair history.
In January 2024 someone drove into the back of it at low speed, damaging the rear bumper, parking sensors, rear light and dislodging a side quarter panel. Fairly modest damage.
Direct Line then proceeded to butcher the car, failing to repair as necessary and repeatedly inflicting new damage upon it (new windscreen ? new front wheel ? new plastic trim to sides ? ) until February 2025, when they decided it would be cheaper to buy it rather than carry on trying to repair it, and keeping the driver in an appropriate hire car.
